Updated 9 October 2026. This notice covers the Group Match waitlist and venue-interest forms, operated by Let’s Get Social Dublin.

What we collect

Your first and last names, email, selected meeting areas and optional route description. If you complete step two, we also collect activities, availability windows, schedule pattern, how far ahead you know your dates, booking notice, transport and parking preferences, travel time, social goals, LGSD membership status, group preferences, usual and occasional activity budgets, and special-experience interests. We record an 18+ confirmation, signup source, and whether you completed both steps. We also record the date and version of the permission you give.

What we use it for

We use your permission to plan compatible groups and contact you about Group Match. Step one saves only when you press “Save my details & continue”. If you leave before finishing step two, we keep the details you saved and may send a reminder about completing your preferences. No automated reminder service is currently connected. This does not enrol you in a paid membership or general marketing list. An on-screen confirmation means your details were saved; an automatic confirmation email is not currently sent.

Venue enquiries

If you register a venue, we collect your business name, contact name and role, email, location, venue type and proposed activities. You can also provide a phone number, website, capacity, quieter slots, costs and other venue information. We use your permission to review the enquiry and contact you about a possible collaboration. The enquiry is stored privately and does not create a booking or agreement. No automatic confirmation email is currently sent.

Storage and sharing

Preferences are stored in a database provided through our website hosting service. Access is restricted to the site owner and authorised service providers. We do not publish your registration or sell it. Venue staff do not receive this signup list. Any later sharing of group contact details will be explained before you join a session.

Retention and your choices

We keep pilot registrations while this pilot is being organised and reviewed. You can withdraw permission and ask for access, correction, or deletion. Contact the LGSD organiser through the official Meetup group. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

Website storage

This form does not use advertising trackers or save your signup in browser storage. The interactive map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap, whose service receives normal web request information such as your IP address. Your selected areas are saved to LGSD, not sent to OpenStreetMap as a signup profile. The hosting service may use necessary access and security functions. We do not collect payment information on this page.
